Today is cooler, yes, but the humidity is not helping. Do you find that you become much lazier when it's hot outside?
Personally, this heat is making me a bit cranky. It's making it difficult to breathe easily, much less run around or lift heavy weights.
So what's a gal to do during the 100+ degree weather. Well, yoga has been a great way to stretch and sweat, while calming the mind and soul.
I also had the chance to swim a few laps one day, and it never felt so amazing! I don't know whether it was that I hadn't truly swam in probably about a year, or that being covered by cool water was just what my body was craving, but either way, it was PERFECT for those few minutes.
What's your exercise of choice during this heat?
