GROCERY DAYS

It seems the more "Green" becomes the "in thing" the more, excuse my language, garbage gets added to the shelves at natural food stores.

Attempting to find gluten-free, healthy cookies for my toddler this weekend was nearly impossible. How much palm kernel oil IS there in this world? Do I really have to make vegan muffins and cookies every week in order to give him a dessert?

Yet of course coconut water was nowhere to be found because there would be no room for all of the "healthy" cookies! I kid you. But it does seem as though it's been getting harder and harder to find large containers of coconut water, but easier to find gluten-free cookies, cakes and other products with no nutritional benefits.

For about a year now, I've been wondering why I never see my favorite pasta anymore. I learned today that the manufacturer went out of business! Nutrition Kitchen Soybean Pasta offered black, white and green soy pasta.
I remember the days of giving Grocery Store Tours and recommending this amazing product:
Soybean Pasta - 3 colors

What now? Will someone else make a similar product, or will we be left to eat pasta that still needs an added protein? I mean an option that actually TASTES like pasta.

I have hope that we, as customers, will be heard and healthy foods will be placed in health food stores once again. But this will only happen if we tell managers and owners what we want...demand life.

too bad you are not a millionaire and could hire someone to produce a new pasta such as the one that out of business and no longer to be found!!!!!
