I hope everyone had a fabulous Mother's Day yesterday!
I haven't uploaded pics yet, but I took this with my phone.
I had a wonderful weekend celebrating with my family, and hugging my mother and my child quite often (wink wink).
This week's inspiration comes from MOTHERS. For some, this weekend was tough since some have passed, for others it was a weekend of appreciation and catering to their every need. But for both, we can look within and determine what it is or was about our mothers that has such an impact on us.
- Love?
- Affection?
- Care?
- Thoughtfulness?
- Honesty?
- Humor?
What words do you think of when you think of your mother? What memories do you have of your time with her? Do they make you laugh or cry? Smile or burrow your head in a pillow out of frustration?
To all of the mothers out there, have you followed your mother's lead or have you formed your own path in mothering?
Write these feelings down and you're sure to look back at them someday and revisit those feelings, allowing yourself to learn from them.
Someone sent this to me yesterday, and I thought many of you could relate:
"When you are a mother, you are never really alone in your thoughts. A mother always has to think twice, once for herself and once for her child."
~Sophia Loren
