DEVOTION

"Devotion"
My word of the weekend.

This weekend, I completed another level towards my 200 hours of yoga certification.
Congrats to all of the wonderful ladies that participated!
Our teacher asked us to take a few minutes to think about someone who has truly inspired us, someone who we want to emulate. I chose two people (rebel!), my parents. And when asked to come up with one word to explain what I've learned most from them, I thought of "DEVOTION."

They are completely devoted to their families, to their friends, to their work, to being honorable individuals with good morals and purpose, and to each other. They are truly inspirational.

Now it's your turn. Who inspires you?
What characteristics about them do you hope to emulate?
Now chose ONE word. Hold that word close to your heart and run with it.

Amanda, you added so much to the teacher training. Thank you! My word was "inspired." I feel so fortunate to know so many women who have dedicated themselves to helping others as you have. It is amazing to me how many teachers, nurses and others like you have dedicated themselves to a life of service through yoga. Keep up the great work on your blog!
