With the weather changing, we're in a transition stage from Summer to Fall apparel and accessories.
So what's a gal to wear on a dreary 70 degree day?
Layers! Longer sleeves in summer fabrics! Fall boots! Pants in summer fabrics!
I paired a fitted tank with a loose Free People lace and sweater knit top and finally a lace cardigan. The olive green William Rast skinny slacks, baggy on the top, were slim enough to offset the loose tops, but still work appropriate.
A pair of scrunched Miss Sixty boots and a floral hat added some more spunk to the outfit, and wallah!
Be comfortable. Feel good. And...work it!

White after Labor Day?
White lace I would say no...this is a cream color so it transitions well and the Summer fabric of the lace mixed with the Fall sweater knit flows well together. White in a thicker fabric I would say yes if paired with a Fall item. The "No White After Labor Day" rule is gone to most fashion experts these days...I believe it depends on the fabrics.
Love the look! I almost wore boots today, but am stretching out summer and opting for flats. Enjoying your blog!
