If there's one thing that I can't stand, it's someone telling me how I feel or what I'm doing when they have no idea.
I feel compelled to write about this topic after going to a new dentist today and having her tell me I am not flossing. How about asking if I'm flossing? I will admit, like so many of us out there, a few months after a dentist appointment I end up flossing every other day instead of every day.
It reminded me of when people tell others how they're feeling, or choose not to believe someone when he/she explains their feelings. It is so important not to dismiss someone's feelings. It is important to make sure we're not calling people liars (even without so many words) if we have no real idea if they actually are.
I appreciate honestly and "realness" so very much, and I hope you always feel compelled to be open with me, as I will be with you.
