YogaFit 200 Hour Certified!

After a few years of slowly going through the journey of yoga certification, I received my 200-hour last spring. I started the process at the very start of my divorce, and I finished just a few months after it finalized. I felt such a need to finish the 200-hour.

But that's when I realized that my yoga journey was only beginning.

I had an AMAZING experience going through the certification with my yoga friends I met through YogaFit, and one friend in particular helped me feel more comfortable leaving that process and starting a new, more personal one. Diana Morgan (Facebook: Diana Morgan) showed me "Yoga" in a different way than I had ever imagined.

I started the yoga certification wanting to grow personally and professionally, yet truly focusing on the physical aspect. My personality type is one that is strong, and I have high expectations of myself, and that carries over to my clients. I want my clients to see results. But I learned through this time that results are not always seen; some results are felt internally.

I stopped focusing on just the physical and started focusing more on stress relief. Sometimes that can mean moving at a fast pace, other times practicing to dance music or classical, and other times more of a relaxed, stretching type of yoga. It's what best for that particular day. And that's okay, whatever it is.

YOGA IS...
