IN DENIAL?

Do you find that you are often in denial?
Denial is in every part of our life.

We use denial in our relationships to a great extent. For example, we deny that we were affected by our mother or father leaving when we were young, and that we sabotage our marriage by always needing to be right or not accepting that things aren’t as they should be.

We use denial in our mind/body connection. Are we eating because we are hungry or because it tastes good? Or are we eating because of the memories that come with the specific food? Or because we are happy, or sad? Do we appreciate food or abuse it, and in turn, abuse ourselves?

Denial is an ugly thing that can ruin careers, relationships, and our health and well being. But it’s never too late to become more aware of ourselves and our surroundings.

And today is the perfect time to start.
