Is It Still Winter?

I love living in NY, living with the change of seasons, watching the leaves fall, the snowflakes build into one big mound that can make the most perfect snowman, the birds chirping in the morning and letting me know Spring has sprung, and the sun shining down and bringing much needed Vitamin D.

This morning I realized that it's only January. Because there's ALREADY been so much snow this season, I feel like it's time for Winter to end and Spring to bring flowers and sidewalks that I can actually walk on. I am suddenly so ready to go for long runs, play in the playground and throw a ball outside with my toddler, and meet up with friends in Central Park.

I love being cozy in flannel PJ's and having the excuse to stay inside, but I enjoy it in small bits.

And aren't you excited for Spring 2011 Fashion?! I love coats and sweaters, but it's not fun covering up so many fun outfits! Lightweight dresses with midseason boots and jackets...aaah....

Okay Winter - I'm ready for Spring!
