Whole Wheat & More

I ate whole wheat pizza with my son last night and it was AMAZING!!!!

I have always been a fan of Italian food, but it has not always agreed with me ;)

But since my body has been responding better to foods I'm usually intolerant to, I decided to make a pizza with my son a couple of nights ago. I did not feel sick in the slightest and really enjoyed it.

After the Bronx Zoo 5k on Saturday, we walked around the zoo and then stopped for some lunch. As you could easily assume, the food options were not ideal, so I ordered the best choice of a grilled chicken sandwich. Well, it actually came with a nice multigrain roll, lettuce, and tomato! I picked off half of the bread, but I felt totally normal afterwards!

Olive oil also hasn't been "bothering" me anymore, which I'm very excited about since it's a healthy oil that I've never been able to eat before without needing to lay down afterwards.

I am a true believer that eating well for our bodies allow our bodies to work better. I have also trained my body to be able to eat more of specific foods.
