Spring '14 Fashion

I was having a discussion today about how disappointing Fashion Week was this month for Spring 2014. The model, the hair, makeup, accessories...where was all of the fun, the excitement?! Well, here are a few I found that stood out amongst the Plain Jane's.

Oscar de la Renta gave us quite the show, with dresses that looked like they took many hours to create, quality fabric, and a fun color palette!

Thom Browne is so unique, designing so many creative, strong-shouldered looks, all in white. I also appreciated the costume-like hair and makeup, helping to create the "show."
I would totally wear the top with a pair of jeans!

Armani's only look I was really into - thought it was super cute and fresh:
The rest looked cheap, especially with the large, plastic earrings.

Balmain gave us some of the usual rock and roll, and I always love a good boot paired with skirt/dress. And I'm obsessed with good leather, so the quilted leather with chains gave us a Chanel-esque "prettiness" in a "hot" way. I also love that the age range is quite large for this collection.

I think we can make some of these work ;)
